hello and happy halloween~! i have an infinite quantity of grey candies to give out! the catch is i'd like recommendations for scary and/or disturbing media! (with the exception of stuff by junji ito... i've read all his stuff already. oops lmao) i'd much appreciate it if you left a link to your candy post so i can collect treats too~! happy trick or treating y'all!
if you don't mind gore/extremely graphic death scenes, I'd recommend the Corpse Party remake for PSP/PS Vita! it's not all that scary once you get used to the formula imo, but the graphic death scenes/bad endings give me life..... and it also has some of the best voice acting I've ever heard in anything ever. the second game Book of Shadows isn't quite as good as the first but has more memorable death scenes so I'd still recommend that one too if you like the first game!
on the contrary that's right up my alley lmao. i don't have a psp or vita but it's to my understanding it actually started out as an rpg maker game? do you possibly know if there's a translation of that anywhere? i guess that version wouldn't have the good voice acting though ):
there is!! I haven't played the original version myself, but from what I know it's a completely different experience from the PSP version. the original game was released in 1996 so it's incredibly dated; the PSP version completely redid and enhanced the original character designs, added a bunch of new characters and much more depth to the plot. but here are some links for you:
